The event, which runs from 12pm until 3pm, is a fundraiser for the farm operations at Rural Hill. You are welcome to donate any amount that you can, and every contribution helps to ensure that the animals on the farm receive the care and attention they need, and help us put funds towards adding a new addition to the farm. During your visit, you'll have the opportunity to learn about the history and characteristics of highland cattle, a breed that originated in Scotland with our farm manager. You'll get to meet Dolly, Fiona, Graham, and Finn, and discover their unique personalities and quirks. Dolly, the oldest of the group, has a maternal nature that makes her especially endearing. Fiona is more independent but loves her snacks. Finn is curious and sociable, while Graham is still a bit shy but loves to play. In addition to meeting the cows, you can explore the farm and learn about the daily routines of the animals and their care. And of course, you can enjoy the beautiful surroundings and the company of other animal lovers.
