Cardiff 101 Mainstreet Association will host a weekly Farmers Market starting March 4, every Saturday from 10am to 2pm. Located at MiraCosta College San Elijo Campus, the new farmers market is a Certified California Farmers Market, featuring locally sourced produce sold by local farmers. The Cardiff Farmers Market will also have an array of related food products and prepared food vendors, along with a curated group of makers and craft vendors. Confirmed vendors include, Mooski Snacks, Wonderland Farm, MP Family Farm, Rodney Kawano Farm, Sea Greens Microgreens, Crescent Meat, Fishbone Fish, Cardiff Tiny Farm and Emmy Lou Jewelry. Everyone will be local and everything will be fresh. As an organization that feels strongly about social justice, equity and helping their community grow, the Cardiff Farmers Market will soon accept EBT payments and has also made sure the market is fully ADA compliant. The market is located across from the San Elijo lagoon, with easy access off the I-5 at Manchester Ave and will have plenty of parking (room for 850+ vehicles).
