❗MEETUP LOCATION UPDATE FOR MAY 8TH RIDE❗The Brookside Annual Art Fair is smack-dab in the middle of our route. Instead of Whole Foods, we'll meet at KC Bier Co and ride to Meyer & Back. Otherwise...We‘re a group of families who love to ride around KC with our kiddos, and we’d love for you to join us! This casual, all-ages, no-drop ride will start at Whole Foods and take the Trolley Track Trail south to KC Bier Co. We’ll have time for snacks and mingling (or beer if you’d like) before riding back to Whole Foods. Please register in advance so we know how large the group is and can call ahead for a table at KC Bier Co. 11:00am - Gather on the Trolley Trail near Whole Foods (KC Bier Co on May 8th)11:10am - depart11:30-11:40am (ish) - rest stop & regroup at the Community Center at Meyer & Wornall12:00pm (ish) - arrive KC Bier CoAlternatively you could meet us at KC Bier Co. Just look for the table with all the bike helmets! Our easy pace will accommodate all levels of experience and take the pace of the slowest rider. No one is left behind along the route. The route is 3 miles one-way. If your children are riding, it's good to understand their endurance levels. Some families will prefer a "halvsies" option: ride from Whole Foods to Starbucks (then turn back), or meet at Starbucks to ride to KC Bier Co. Come as you are / as you typically ride! The Trolley Track Trail is crushed gravel and suitable for any age or ability, so long as they know how to go forward :) The ride leader will contact families the day before the ride with contact details or to cancel due to inclement weather. You assume your own risk by participating in this ride. (We’re just fun parents like you, so can’t afford to be sued.) Helmets and age-appropriate safety gear is strongly encouraged. The event is drizzle-or-shine, above 40*F and below 100*F! ❗UPDATE! The May 8th ride begins at KC Bier Co, will ride north to Meyer, then return to KC Bier Co ❗
