Description

This class is an extension of the “Childbirth Basics” class that expands on the role of the support person during labor, comfort techniques, and mental and physical preparation for birth. We will go in depth into comfort measures such as breathing, relaxation, massage, analgesic, and anesthesia; with an emphasis on the role of the support person. If you wish to participate in any of the floor exercises (breathing, laboring positions) please bring a yoga mat or blanket and pillow. Your instructor is one of our Labor nurses who has also taken movement in labor classes. If you and your support person are wanting to learn more about how to prepare your mind and body for childbirth … this is a class you don’t want to miss! Please request 1 ticket per couple attending.
