We invite you to​ join us for a one-day, interactive and engaging arts-based leadership retreat at Kutztown University hosted by the Pennsylvania Art Education Association Board of Directors. Every day, we are presented with challenges and opportunities in life that require us to reach our full capacity. We will be unpacking the notion of leadership, mapping our personal and collective journey and developing an authentic leadership plan. This creative leadership retreat is designed for all art educators. The program will include workshops, hands-on activities, a deep dive into PAEA’s leadership and time for reflection. Art has the power to change lives, and as educators, we can be that catalyst for change. Join keynote speaker, Dr. Leslie Gates, and presenters, Dr. Nicole Romanski, Dr. Julia Hovanec, Dr. MaryJo Rosania-Harvie and current PAEA President, Benjamin E. Hoffman, for an interactive and thoughtful space for agency and change. Ticket price includes lunch and participants will receive 6 hours of Act 48 credit.
