Next Level Workshop & Keynote Speaker Series is hosting its 3rd annual youth summit. The event is FREE if you register with your school. General public attendees will be contacted with pricing details. The NLWKSS Youth Summit is open to male students and will serve Madison and other local school districts. The event will be held on Friday, May 19, 2023 (for middle school students) and Tuesday, May 23, 2023 (for high school students) at Madison College (Truax). The NLWKSS is designed to provide information and resources to African American males through workshops (i.e., financial literacy, mental health, social media, conflict resolution, etc.) and discussions that address issues that negatively affect African American males. The event offers a foundation on which these students can be assisted in gaining academic, leadership, and life skills. Developing a strong connection with our young people is a great start to reducing the barriers that impact an individual's growth and success. NLWKSS is excited about its role as a conduit for building bridges, creating opportunities to learn, and increasing self-esteem in marginalized students. NLWKSS endeavors to integrate the aspirations of these students with the inspiration that is provided by role models and organizations that exemplify excellence.
