I fell in love with this beautiful modality and wanted to share these experiences with others."~Adriana Dobbs Sound therapy offers a way to invite a time of harmony and balance for the body, allowing your body to focus its energy on restoration. Lavender essential oil benefits include reducing stress, brain function support & promote a peaceful state. Benefits of Sound Therapy include: Deep relaxation and meditative-like statesReduction of stress, anxiety, fatigue, and depressionIncreased feelings of happiness and tranquilityLowering of heart rate and blood pressureEase of chronic pain and inflammationPromotes restful sleepThis Sound Bath will feature Crystal Singing Bowls and various other instruments, including Himalayan Singing Bowls, chimes, and other instruments. This Sound Bath will be a lying-down experience. Yoga mats (to lay on, No movement practice), blankets, and a small bolster will be provided. You may bring any extra pillows, or blankets for your comfort. Being well-hydrated optimizes the benefits of a sound bath, as the sound waves and vibrations reach us on a cellular level. You may dress comfortably, as you will be lying down for this experience. A sound bath is not recommended for those in their first trimester of pregnancy, or those who currently have thrombosis or hypotension. In-person sound baths may produce monaural beats; if you are prone to seizures, you should check with your physician. If you wear a cochlear implant, please let your sound facilitator know. If you have sensory sensitivites, please contact Adriana to discuss options. People with medical conditions should consult their doctor. Results may vary from person to person. Plan to arrive 10-15 minutes early to allow time to find parking and get settled into your spot. No entry past 6:00 pm.
