5K Walk/Run Race for Broadway Stars Clubhouse

In support of the new Broadway Stars Clubhouse, Broadway Recover Services is hosting a 5K walk/run fundraising event. All profits from the day's event will be donated to the program. Race starts at 9:00am and will take runners/walkers through Firestone Farms in Columbiana. The race will be chip timed. Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers in various age categories. Those not running or walking in the race are invited to come out—join the festivities, cheer participants on and learn about the new Broadway Stars Clubhouse. There will be games for all ages (with prizes!). In addition to race swag (a cool t-shirt and hopefully other goodies we'll get donated to populate your race bag), participants registered before May 15, 2023 will be entered to win their choice of $50 gift card from one of our event sponsors. --------------------------- Broadway Stars Clubhouse joins over 320 local Clubhouses globally, in over 30 countries, that offer people living with mental illness opportunities for friendship, employment, medical and psychiatric services, education and housing. Broadway Stars Clubhouse is a program of Broadway Recovery Services, run by three full-time, Clubhouse-specific staff members. The Clubhouse is organized around a structured system called a work-ordered day, where members and employed staff work side-by-side to perform work that is important to their community.
