Join us for a night of rock and roll on Thursday, May 26th at 6:30 in Haynes Hall at McMenamin’s Anderson School in Bothell. SAS students will perform original works as well as covers of rock favorites. This event is a fundraiser where we hope to raise $10,000 to continue and expand our music program. Currently, we raise all the money for this program through grants, events, and private donations. McMenamin’s Anderson School is a special location for our program, as it is the former location of our school. The SAS Music Program is a club at Secondary Academy for Success (Northshore’s alternative high school) supported by the Northshore Schools Foundation. The program allows high school students to practice, write, and perform music, typically quite loudly. The program is led by professional musician Robert Heyer or RL, an unbelievable talent who has incredible musical skills and experience, as well as patience and a heart for our students. The SAS Music Program has had the opportunity to record music at the Art Institute of Seattle and performed previously at the Highway 99 Blues Club. Don't miss the display of student art also featured at the event. A limited food menu will be available on-premise.  Attendance is free, and guests are encouraged to make a donation in support of the program.
