UVM Professor David Feurzeig, who is bringing climate awareness to the 252 towns of Vermont by promoting clean energy and sustainability, will perform an exciting program of rags to classical riches on the Steinway grand piano at the Arkell Pavilion, Southern Vermont Arts Center in Manchester. He will also accompany a vocal ensemble of students from local schools, including Flood Brook, Dorset, Red Fox, Maple Street, and MEMS, for a performance of Colors of the Wind from the Disney film Pocahontas, directed by event organizer Anne D’Olivo. Admission is free, but donations at the door (cash or check) are welcome and will benefit the Northshire environmental justice group Earth Matters Manchester.
