Next your guide Kendra will support you in making your own mala step-by-step. Your $100 investment includes our base mala-making-kit, equipped with all the supplies and tools needed to craft your own 108 bead mala. Choose from over fifty different gemstone beads and styles and your choice of a unique protective bag to store your mala in when it's not in use. During the workshop you have the opportunity to upgrade your mala-making-kit to include even more semi precious gemstone bead options for an extra $25-$50. As a Colorado native, born in Cortez and raised in Dolores, Kendra was shaped by her tight-knit community, its small town vibes, and the endless wilderness spaces of that region. Kendra’s roots are intertwined in the San Juan mountains as well as the high desert, plateau, and river ecosystems of southwest Colorado and its neighboring states. She aspires to "give back” and spread healing to the larger community of the Grand Valley and across the western slope of Colorado. After graduating from the Culinary Institute of America, Kendra worked in restaurants and ran fine dining kitchens for almost a decade. She realized the restaurant industry wasn’t her path but her knowledge of culinary arts gave her an advantage when she began her study in the art of alchemy. Her BS in Integrative Healthcare blends health science courses with ancient healing practices from around the globe. Kendra instantly took an interest in plant medicine. She has countless hours in the study of herbalism and aromatherapy, has attended herbal conferences, worked at affluent apothecaries, and has been formulating and making herbal and aromatherapeutic medicine for over ten years. As a steward to the Earth, Kendra is passionate about sustainability, environmentalism, and the endless healing powers of Mother Earth. Through nature, she aspires to support others in their own healing process. She is enthusiastic about using her life experience and her own suffering to help others heal from their own trauma and connect to their true selves. Kendra believes that we all have the power to access our highest self and live our own best life; sometimes we just need a little guidance accessing that inner strength. Let Kendra be your guide and teacher, encouraging you to unlock your greatest potential, so you can live your truest and most authentic life.
