Join Ashlander Lillian Breen in this wonderful opportunity to put your thoughts to paper with others who are so inclined. Each meeting Lillian will give you a prompt to start the juices flowing or, if you already have an idea, just come to write with friends. Come with your paper/pen/laptop and be ready to write and discuss your ideas (this part is optional, as we know stories can also be deeply personal). Feel free to bring your favorite non-alcoholic writing drink in a covered cup. About Lillian: My name is Lillian Breen, a resident of Ashland for 17 ½ years. I’ve been a long time passionate, personal story writer who has been wanting to organize a personal story/poetry writing group for several years. I have 3 grown children, 5 grandchildren & a great-granddaughter. My love of water-color painting, at Ashland Senior Center, for 15 years has also unfolded during that time. Everyone has stories to unleash, in writing & sharing ~ this develops into a wonderful mini-community. We will have pen/pencils with good erasers and paper on hand if you need. Registration is required for this program for each date you plan to attend. Walk-ins will be allowed if the program is not full.
