The City of Waynesboro and Central Virginia Prep invite you to attend Idea Open Mic Night as a presenter or an audience member. Idea Open Mic Night will be held on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, starting at 6:30 pm at The City Foxes (414 W Main St) in downtown Waynesboro. Anyone in the community is invited to register and attend. For just $10 per person (cash only at the door), you can join other members of the community to have a delicious panini and share some of those great ideas that you keep thinking up or support someone else's great idea. Up to 15 presenters can share their ideas with audience members in a pitch format with a three minute time limit. At the end of the evening, audience members will vote on their favorite. The presenter with the most votes takes home all the cash collected at the door - no strings attached! No business plans and no requirements, just you and your next great idea! Those who wish to share their idea and present have the following guidelines: - Ideas must be NEW business ideas (not an existing business) - Those who wish to share their idea must register to present - Up to 15 people will be able to present - Each presenter has three minutes to share one idea We encourage those planning to present to spread the word, have friends and family register to attend, and be open to new connections!
