STATA In-person CEU Event | Free for members The Uvalde Love Project: A Community Art Therapy Approach to Communal Trauma presented by Wanda Montemayor, LPC-S-AT, ATR-BC, ATCS, RPT-S The Uvalde Love Project is a community initiative that began following the devastating event of the Robb Elementary Shooting in Uvalde Texas. Led by a team of art therapists, this project is aimed at promoting healing and fostering love among its members through a combination of art and therapy workshops. During the workshops, participants have had the opportunity to create hand-made tiles for a mosaic mural that will be displayed at Jardin de los Heroes Park. The completion and installation of this project is set for June of this year. Please join us May 21st from 1-2:30pm for an incredible opportunity to partake in the completion of this mural. Light snacks and beverages will be provided, however, a potluck is encouraged. This event will be free to all active STATA members and $15 for non-members.
