On the heels of 2021's acclaimed "Neither One Of Us Is Wrong" Phoebe Hunt is excited to release "Nothing Else Matters" in July of 2023 (Thirty Tigers). The album of solo fiddle and voice marks a departure for Hunt, whose previous projects have showcased her skill as a bandleader and collaborator. Yet it is also a joyful return to her foundations. Whereas the fiddle and voice are often the final elements, or icing on the cake of a full band recording, this project explores what it sounds like when the fiddle and vocals represent the whole cake. Drawing from 30 years spent studying the violin/fiddle, Hunt interweaves her classical upbringing with Appalachian Old Time, Texas Swing, and a maturity of songwriting that creates an unfiltered, raw expression dripping with palpable vulnerability. “With a twang in her voice and her trademark energetic fiddling, Texas singer-songwriter Phoebe Hunt tells the story of a woman who is determined to make her own way in the world.” — NPR Named “Best Folk/Soul Artist” at the 2022 Richmond International Film + Music Festival, Stone & Snow is an Americana pairing of songwriters and multi-instrumentalists, Karen Bridges and Clint Thomson. In 2012, they began a collaboration filled with close harmonies and thoughtful lyrics and gave it a name that gives a nod to the mountain landscapes of the West– Stone & Snow. Karen and Clint are also passionate about elevating women in music. With the underground listening room they created called The Hallowed Hall, their work collecting data on the gender balance in their local scene, and Karen’s involvement as an instrument instructor for young girls with Girls Rock! C-U, Stone & Snow is invested in seeing more women grow and thrive in the music industry. They currently reside in Cincinnati, Ohio The Listening Experience @ 3300 is located in the Grand Showroom of the 3300 Event Center (the historic former Second Chance Nightclub & Music Hall ).
