Description
Hosted by Andrew Yang's GoldenDAO the evening will bring together a diverse community of individuals who are passionate about supporting and celebrating the rich AAPI heritage. Our Asian Night festival will honor and celebrate the rich diversity of Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) cultures, traditions, and communities. By bringing people together through a vibrant and immersive experience, we seek to foster understanding, support, and solidarity in the fight against AAPI hate. Together, let us embrace unity, raise awareness, and promote a more inclusive society. Our event will feature a number of distinguished speakers, including Andrew Yang, and special musical performances, as well as opportunities to network with fellow leaders in our community. Enjoy a night of cocktails and hors d'oeuvres. Dress code: "Harmonious Tapestry: Celebrating AAPI Heritage and Unity in Style" or Cocktail Attire The theme invites guests to creatively express their appreciation for AAPI cultures and traditions through their attire. Guests are encouraged to draw inspiration from diverse AAPI heritages to create a visual tapestry of cultural harmony and unity in the stand against hate. — All funds from this event will go to Andrew Yang’s GoldenDAO, Asian Pacific Community Fund (APCF), and several charities all promoting AAPI safety and fighting hate. GoldenDAO, and its co-founder Jack Liang, have led events across the US, including the Rally Against Hate and others, and as a direct consequence of their impact on public opinion, the NY state budget allocated for the AAPI community rose from US$300K in 2021 to US$20 million in 2022. Note: This is a limited capacity event. We are honored to host this important event and look forward to welcoming you for an unforgettable evening.
