This will be our 2nd annual Comedy Show Fundraiser to raise money for Royal Family Kids Camp (RFKC). RFKC is a summer camp for kids in foster care / the DCFS system and our goal each year is to help these kids have a fun, memorable week at camp. Many of these kids have had traumatic childhoods and this camp is often the highlight of their year. Last year, me and some friends set out to raise money for camp by hosting our first Comedy Show Fundraiser and folks like you helped us raise over $3K! In our second year doing this, we’re trying to go a bit bigger and we will be hosting it at Revolution Brewer’s Lounge above their Logan Square brewpub. The Eventbrite ticket will cover the cost of dinner, the comedy show, and two drink tickets. A cash bar will also be available. Similar to last year, we will also be raising money at the event. The suggested donation will be $60 / person, but donations of any amount - large or small - will be appreciated. Dinner menu can be found in the Agenda section below. Layout will be changed again for the dinner, hang, and dance party afterwards... we will have full control of the audio system and are going to work on setting up a collective playlist we can all contribute to / way to make requests!
