Join us for the Mushroom Log Inoculation Class on Sun Jun 11 2023 at 10:00AM in Pocatello, ID. Learn how to grow your own mushrooms at home by inoculating logs with mushroom spawn. Our experienced instructors will guide you through the process step-by-step, so you can successfully cultivate your own mushrooms at home. This is a hands-on class, so come prepared to get your hands dirty! Participants need to know they are assuming all risk of doing drilling, hammering, and hot wax pouring, and cannot hold event organizers responsible for any possible mishaps. We do our absolute best to keep everyone safe. Participants agree to adhere to safety rules. The class will be held at 2647 South 2nd Avenue, Pocatello, ID 83204. Please bring gloves, eye protection, a drill and bit if you have a preference (8mm), and ear plugs. We will provide up to 2 logs, 2 drills with 8mm bits onsite, work table, instruction, 25 mushroom plugs (either reishi or oyster), mallet, and hot sealing wax. We will do our best to set you up for years of mushroom home-harvesting success!
