There is a rusty ash firepit that yearns to be lit, and circled time boulders that beckon arses to sit! I miss all of my listening friends, who show up so kind and open to what I’m creating here in my back yard, so let’s get back to it. I’ve been spreading the word to some of you the past few months, but finally getting around to this formal invite to fill in some spaces. This will be my first live experience with Marc Delgado, and I am so honored we connected on the socials and the dates lined up. It was truly an instinctual heart moment in saying ‘”YES” to hosting, and the more I read about Marc and his story, the more I well up with anticipation for this special event! I can say that he is described as.. “part folkie, poet, raconteur and stand up comic. “ In an interview with Hudson Valley One, Marc talks about his heritage, which includes his Spanish immigrant grandparents and their career in farming grapes to make raisins in the Central Valley of California. . “I love the symbolic implication of making raisins,” Delgado says. “You put the grapes in the sun, they shrivel, wither, die and become raisins.
