Along with listening to the album, Shelley and Lisle will interview band members Alicja Trout and Brad Pounders about the album's creation and lasting influence on music insiders.

The Clears were a Memphis-based band that formed in 1996, consisting of Alicja Trout (guitar, vocals, keyboards), Chris Clarity (keyboards, vocals), and Brad Pounders (drums, vocals, keyboards). The band's self-titled album was released in 1997.
Shelley reflects on his first encounter with the band in a Bandcamp.com post. "The Clears first caught my eyes and ears in Memphis on New Year's Eve after a fateful canceled Townes Van Zandt session at Easley-McCain Studio. The Clears opened for the Grifters on NYE and everything seemed possible and exciting again."
The Clears are known for their unique sound, which is a mix of 80s pop, synthpop, and garage rock. The band's music is often described as catchy, infectious, and energetic.
Be with us to listen to their defining collection of music, in a hi-fi listening environment designed by EgglestonWorks, a locally-based state-of-the-art sound system company.
