Living a modern yoga lifestyle is more than just a physical practice. Understanding the why behind the movements and Breathwork builds connection. Studying Yoga philosophy enhances our relationship with ourselves and the practices we use. When there is CONTEXT to our practices deep appreciation and learning can occur.
In this first workshop we will discuss two major themes:
We will explore our layers of being (the Koshas)
We will identify the 3 types of fluctuations that pervade our experiences internally and externally (the Gunas)
You can expect an accessible movement practice along with meditations. There will be discussions along with the content.
