The goal of this course is to develop NRA Certified Instructors who possess the knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary to conduct the NRA Refuse To Be A Victim Seminar.
Prerequisites:
You must have taken this class as a student. Must have taken the BIT: NRA Basic Instructor Training class in the previous 24 months NRA Refuse To Be A Victim teaches strategies people can integrate into their everyday lives to avoid becoming a victim of crime.
Refuse To Be A Victim Instructor courses are taught by Regional Counselors and concentrate on technical aspects of the program, instructor expectations, certification guidelines, developing speaking techniques and presentation skills, marketing seminars, etc.

Your NRA Training Counselor will make a recommendation to the NRA concerning your certification based on an evaluation of your knowledge, skills, and attitude. You will be demonstrating your organizational and teaching skills through participation in practical exercises. You will take an examination. Attendance at the course does not guarantee that you will receive the recommendation. You are not paying for certification, you have the opportunity to become certified.
