For 23 years, Amethyst Place has been a pioneer in two-generational transformation—not just in Kansas City, but nationally. Community demand is increasing for the unique services we provide. At any given time, there are more than 40 families waiting a year or more to call Amethyst Place home, including nearly 80 children. Imagine the community impact if we doubled in size – serving over 350 women and children annually. Well, we no longer have to imagine because this dream is finally becoming a reality! We will build 37 more units of affordable housing to and bring those families home to heal at Amethyst Place.
