Shake out what’s blocking you and thrive with the blossoming of the seasons. Groove to bloom, baby! [ Please arrive 15 minutes early. ] What to expect: We’ll gather in circle with the sacred medicinal beverage of cacao to create presence, give thanks and ask for support in this process of renewal. I’ll guide us as we get clear on our intentions and become evermore familiar with our bodies. We’ll dance and allow ourselves to move intuitively to release what’s ready to be moved. We’ll complete the journey with grounding and gratitude. Ecstatic Dance Ecstatic dance is: freedom of expression and healing through movement. We move to free up any stuck or stagnant energy in the body. It’s an opportunity to let loose and move through emotions to experience states of release and enjoyment, while cultivating a deeper sense of connection with oneself and the subtle support that’s always available to us. The dance is totally impromptu. Think dance club meets yoga and intentionality — topped with a runner's high.  Cacao  Ceremonial cacao opens the heart and eases the mind, encouraging uninhibited expression and movement. This ancient beverage, known as the Food of the Gods, is chocolate in its purest form and was traditionally reserved for the elite. Today, we have the honor of enjoying cacao for its benefits of healing, creativity, spiritual connection, nourishment, natural energy and euphoria. The cacao we will be serving comes straight from the hands of Mayan women in Guatemala and is held very sacredly, creating a heart-centered and expansive experience for all. This is a very precious gift. About Lacy  As a lifelong dancer, Lacy’s love of movement reignited during her discovery of ecstatic dance in the lush jungles of Central America. Throughout her travels, she also spends much time connecting with and sharing the heart-opening plant medicine of cacao. The two — ecstatic dance and cacao — go hand in hand to create a liberating experience that may lead to feelings of bliss and satisfaction or a sense of lightness, like a weight has lifted.  These medicines have supported Lacy tremendously and she's passionate about creating safe, intentional spaces for others to experience the benefits.
