Shortly after his retirement, he began his professional winemaking journey. In 2014, after completing his enology and commercial winemaking operations course at Washington State University, he met Anthony Road Wine Company head winemaker, Peter Becraft. In 2017, he and his wife, Jennifer were married on Veterans Day in a candlelit ceremony at the winery. Corey is completing his seventh harvest at Anthony Road Wine Company and last year he, Jennifer and his step-son Logan began formalizing Bravery Wines with the help of Peter, John Martini and Sarah Eighmey.
