You are cordially invited to this important event for community coalitions, PTA’s, school administrators, prevention providers, youth mental health providers, and others involved in efforts to prevent youth substance use. The film highlights the changing landscape of substances used by youth and offers recommendations for how to empower youth to remain substance free. The film provides up to date information and research-based parent strategies from experts like Nora Volkow, MD., Director of the National Institute on Drug Abuse. Screenagers filmmaker, Delaney Ruston, MD, the director/producer of the film, is a Stanford-trained physician. Her two previous films Screenagers, and Screenagers Next Chapter were highly acclaimed and viewed by many communities and school districts throughout Westchester County. Lisa Tabb, the co-producer of the film, will be moderating a post film discussion. Parking is in the garage underneath the library ($1/hour - cash or card).
