About the eventCAAMFest 2023 Filmmaker Summit is a space where Asian American and BIPOC documentary creatives, media arts and community leaders gather to discuss emerging issues, to uplift and support, be inspired and rejuvenated to continue to make positive change in the world through film and visual arts. Since our inaugural Filmmaker Summit at CAAMFest 2018, we have launched a new Fellowship Program with our partners at A-Doc, we created a development fund for social issue documentaries and published a report on Asian American storytellers in the South and continue to cultivate makers in the regional space.
