Our mountains will once again be filled with singing/nesting birds. Time to admire our resident birds like the Clark’s Nutcracker, White-headed Woodpecker and feisty Mountain Chickadee as well as the returning beautiful neotropical songbirds such as the Western Tanager and Black-headed Grosbeak. We'll freely walk the Long Valley high country and take in the stunning vistas from the Desert View trail while checking out bird habitat from high in the conifers to the meadows below.
