Verbal Purple is hosting a Domestic Violence Awareness event to honor the strength and courage of Survivors, to show Survivors / Victims they are not alone and resources are available to help them, to educate the public in general, and to facilitate receiving donations for the non-profits, Our VOICE & Helpmate. The event is Friday, June 9th, 2023, from 7pm to 12am at One World Brewing West, 520 Haywood Road. The event will include musical performances, a fashion show, a silent auction, including art by local artists, a food truck, a special gift giveaway, comedy and a dance party. Various items will be available to purchase, with proceeds gong to Helpmate and Our VOICE. Please note that “Verbal Purple” is not a Nonprofit 501C3 but is an “Autonomous Awareness Promotional Engine (AAPE)”TM. Verbal Purple’s Mission is to create events to facilitate the receiving of donations for domestic violence / sexual abuse organizations and specialized mental health organizations, to spread awareness concerning the same, and to be part of building a community of support for Survivors of DV and SA.
