Come out to this event on either May 20, 2023 from 2-4 pm or Tuesday May 23, 2023 from 6-8 pm The ALIVE Active Shooter Survival Training Program is the best, most in depth active shooter survival training available today. The other programs, such as: "Run, Hide, Fight", "ALICE", "ALERRT", etc. are better than nothing, but you get what you pay for. This is not a coarse where you can watch a few hours worth of videos and take a 3rd grade level test to become an instructor. It's an in depth, multiple day training with the creator of the program. ALIVE covers mindset (both yours and the shooter's), situational awareness, case studies, and the 5 steps of the ALIVE Program, which are Assess, Leave, Impede, Violence, and Expose. We teach you the best ways to react if you are unfortunate enough to be involved in one of these horrific situations. Our goal is to keep you from having a victim mentality. We will teach you how to have the confidence needed to survive an active shooter event. This training will increase your chances of survival exponentially if you are involved in one of the events. We can also assist you with Stop the Bleed training. This is a basic first aid course for traumatic wounds. We will teach you how to use tourniquets and how to pack gunshot wounds to prevent blood loss. In an active shooter event, first aid will not get to the injured until the event is over. If you have a gunshot wound and steps are not taken to stop the bleeding, it can be too late. This training will teach you simple ways to save lives. We also offer Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design Site-Security Assessments. We will assess your current security measures and give you recommendations on how to improve the security of your facility. If this cannot be accomplished with CPTED methods, we work with partners who can provide any type of security equipment for target hardening.
