What is FastPitch? FastPitch identifies promising entrepreneurs starting new ventures or growing existing ones and gives them the opportunity to pitch their innovative endeavors in front of a live audience. Up to ten finalists will have 5 minutes each to present their ventures to a panel of judges on May 24th at Service Brewing for the chance to win from a pool of over $10K in cash. All finalists must prepare a Google slide deck for the final pitch event. There will be an opportunity to review your slide deck with an experienced mentor ahead of the event. For Entrepreneurs (Applications now closed) FastPitch was designed for anyone living in the Southeastern Georgia vicinity (for example - Savannah, Statesboro, Hinesville, Brunswick, Hilton Head, Beaufort, and any areas surrounding Savannah or nearby.) with a business idea. Students, early-stage companies, and established businesses who want to launch or expand their businesses should apply. Whether you're only in the concept phase, re-inventing your business model, or expanding on your business with a new idea, you're a fit! There is an application process. Applications open on April 1, 2023! The deadline to apply is 11:59pm on April 30, 2023. Selected applicants will be notified on May 5th via email. Visit our landing page HERE to review the full FAQ and apply. For Attendees (What to Expect) A ticket is required to attend FastPitch. The event will take place from 4pm - 6pm at Service Brewing in downtown Savannah. On-street parking is available around Service Brewing. If someone you know is pitching, you'll still need a ticket for entry. Only the person pitching and the company/idea founders may attend for free.
