Rich Hinman is a pedal steel and guitar player who has developed an intensely personal musical language on both instruments. He has toured and/or recorded with kd lang, Sara Bareilles, Vulfpeck (including the song "Bach Pedal," which features Rich playing all four parts of a Bach chorale), Rosanne Cash, Hiss Golden Messenger, Maren Morris, St. Vincent, Paula Cole and many others. He's also released four recordings of his own, including an LP with his longstanding quartet featuring the great guitarist Adam Levy, appropriately named Rich Hinman vs Adam Levy. We are very pleased to present this brand new trio with Chris Bates on bass, and JT Bates on drums. These two have been making music together for close to 40 years. Touring, recording and everything in between. Join us in the intimate setting of Tackle Instrument Supply for an up close evening of great music and community. The trio will adventure their way through some originals and some others.
