Cut one of two predesigned hangers with the laser cutter available at Lansing Makers Network and leave with a project everyone will be jealous of! There are several colors and backgrounds to choose from to customize your own project. This event is beginner focused and participants are not expected to have prior knowledge. The course is open to participants age 16 and over (participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult). FAQ: How big is the finished product? The wooden hanger will be roughly 5x6 inches plus your ribbon to hang Should I bring anything with me to class? Everything you'll need to complete the projects will be provided including any necessary safety equipment. If you have safety glasses or hearing protection you prefer to wear, please feel free to bring them along. (Safety glasses must meet ANSI Z87 standards (most do).) Can I bring my own materials to use? We'll supply all the materials you'll use to complete your earring hanger. Trust us, it'll be some really awesome stuff. What should I wear ? Plan to wear comfortable clothing that you're prepared to get dirty. Avoid loose-fitting clothing and dangling jewelry such as neck chains or bracelets. Shoes should be closed-toed (no sandals or flip-flops). I want to sign up with my friends! Each time slot is for a total of 6 earring holders and are first come first served.
