Spring into the Garden Open House Event – Cantera Montessori School For children ages 6 weeks through kindergarten. Join us at Cantera Montessori School Saturday morning May 13, 2023, from 9:00 am to Noon. Please note event will take place Rain or Shine! *If raining - event will be held indoors Experience our beautiful Montessori school with your little one. First 50 families to sign up for a tour/mailing list will receive a $5.00 coupon to event vendors. One coupon per family. Enjoy our outdoor community with your little one. Garden and Art Activities for your children. Sign up to take a group tour of the school and receive a gift. Food Trucks and snacks available:7 Oaks Coffee Macintyre Garden Cheech & Chong Ice Cream Truck At MSOSV we pride ourselves on our Outdoor Classroom for children ages 12 months through kindergarten. The children participate in garden activities that include planting and prorogating seeds, watering, flower arranging, harvesting fruit and vegetables as well as composting and building the garden beds. In addition to the gardening activities, the children also participate in STEM activities including science experiments and using the Outlast equipment from Community Playthings. When the children are not busy with these activities, you might find them creating art with many different mediums or sitting quietly with a friend reading a book. Join us as we kick off our Spring Garden and start our Outdoor Classroom. You and your child can enjoy several make-and-take garden and art activities. Enjoy a snack and refreshing drink while you sign up to take a group tour and schedule a child visit.
