The 10th Annual Women in Blue is a celebration of the women within the Detroit Police Department and Detroit Fire Department. The event honors the service of our female first-responders and recognizes a Women in Blue Officer of the Year and Detroit Fire Department Woman of the Year. The DPSF will be hosting the 10th annual Women in Blue breakfast on May 18th at The Roostertail. Justice Kyra Harris Bolden is our keynote speaker at this year's event. She joined the Michigan Supreme Court on January 1, 2023 when she was appointed by Governor Whitmer, making her the first black woman to serve as a Justice.
