Join us for a free dinner and discussion about Diaspora and The Unification of The Koreas with author, director, and speaker Joseph Juhn. Joseph is an award-winning lawyer-turned-filmmaker with a passion for telling diasporic narratives. He recently completed his second documentary, "CHOSEN," about 5 Korean Americans who ran for US Congress in 2020. His first feature documentary, "JERONIMO," a film about a Korean Cuban revolutionary, was selected at 17 film festivals worldwide, winning several awards on the way. CHOSEN had its World Premiere at the Jeonju International Film Festival in May 2022 and awaits US film festival results. This event is organized and hosted by PUAC in partnership with Akela Space and KACA NEXGEN. The Peaceful Unification Advisory Council(PUAC) is a constitutional institution established in accordance with Article 92 of the Constitution of the Republic of Korea. The Peaceful Unification Advisory Council (PUAC) is a presidential consultative body set up to establish and implement policies on democratic and peaceful unification on a bipartisan and pan-national level.
