A little about Internal Family Systems Theory (IFS):
IFS is a therapeutic approach which works on the premise that we all have sub-personalities referred to as parts. These parts have specific roles and functions. However, sometimes parts operate without awareness of the needs of other parts. This can create indecision, stress, anxiety, depression, etc. When we are able to access Self space we are able to hold all parts of ourselves with compassion and understanding creating clarity and health.
