“LIKE" Documentary Screening Explores Impact of Social Media on our Lives

Parenting for a Different World (PDW) brings our community together for two screenings of the documentary LIKE, followed by a panel discussion on the role of smartphones and social media in our lives. Join us on either Tuesday May 16 or Monday May 22. Doors will open at 6:30 PM and the movie will start at 7:00. We hope you will stay after for discussion and Q&A with our panel of youth mental health and social media experts. This event is appropriate for those age 10 and older and their parents and caregivers, as well as educators, coaches, and youth leaders. Research and data is plentiful: happiness surges when we have digital balance, not overload. Join PDW for this event to learn more about how to achieve this. PDW offers communication and programs on improving the coping and help-seeking skills of Severna Park's youth. We focus on the development of resiliency and critical skills to improve the quality of life and mental health, and to reduce suicide. PDW programs are free and open to ALL.
