Open Space & Mountain Parks (OSMP) began as the first of its kind. Today, OSMP not only provides recreation opportunities to millions of visitors, but also critical habitat to a vast array of species. Both the protection and enjoyment of these lands are vital to the health and resiliency of our community. Join us for a morning exploring what it means to be a steward of our public lands and gain a better understanding of how these lands provide for a sustainable community and landscape.
Speaker: Dakota Anderson serves as the Recreation Coordinator for Boulder OSMP, as well as a board member for the Society of Outdoor Recreation Professionals. He has worked for OSMP since 2018 and prior to that attended the University of Colorado right here in Boulder. His work focuses on the relationship between outdoor recreation and public lands.
