Jordan Alexson from Cat Companions will share tips on how to adopt, bond, and care for a cat. She will talk about how to navigate the complex process of finding the right cat, build a relationship with your cat and understand cat behavior, avoid problem behaviors, and care for your cat. Jordan has volunteered thousands of hours at shelters and is certified by the Animal Behavior Institute as a cat behaviorist. Cat Companions (catcompanions.org) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a mission to comfort people with disabilities with emotional support cats while providing cats with a loving home.
