The Acadiana Farm Tour is a self-guided tour, participants drive their own vehicles, with specific times that the farms will be receiving visitors. The tour will begin at the Cajun Acres and then visit Blazing Star Farm where a per-ordered lunch will be available. After lunch we will visit T Moise Farm before traveling to St. Joseph Farm and the end of the tour. The farm tour participants must follow the proscribed times, route and farms in sequence on the farm tour. Participants are encouraged to car pool in visiting the farms as parking space is limited at the farms. Contact Izzi Frank at [email protected] for more information. Acadiana Sustainable Farm Tour Sponsored by Southern Sustainable Agriculture Research & Education (SARE), the Louisiana State University Agricultural Center, and Southern University Agricultural Center May 24, 2023 Tour Itinerary 1. The tour will begin at Cajun Acres Hydroponic Greenhouse.  Please park in the gravel lot behind the greenhouse, and then along the drive.  Check-in begins at this farm at 8:00 A.M. with the tour beginning at 8:30 A.M and ending at 9 30. We will depart from the site at 9:45 A.M.  2. Our next stop brings us to Blazing Star Farm.  The tour will begin at 10:45 AM and end at 11:45 A.M.  Please park along road and on the farm property.  We will eat a catered lunch at this farm. Everyone needs to pre-order lunch with registration. Lunch will be from 12:00 P.M. to 12:30 P.M.  We will depart for the next farm at 12 45 PM. 3. T. Moise is the next farm on the tour. The farm tour starts at 1:15 P.M. and ends at 2:45 P.M.  Please drive into the farm and park in designated areas. There will be someone directing the parking at this farm. We will depart for the next farm at 3 PM 4. Our final stop will be at St. Joseph's Homestead. Our tour will begin at 3:30 P.M. and conclude at 4:30 P.M. Please drive in and park in the interior of the farm, along the gravel driveway.  Departure from this farm will be at 4 30 PM and this concludes the tour.
