Description

Holotropic breathwork involves the control and quickening of breathing patterns to bring about altered states of consciousness which can allow somatic release and self-discovery. The term holotropic translates into “moving towards wholeness.” Tiffany is a certified breathwork facilitator and will guide you through a series of conscious, connected breathing techniques. This increases activity across a network of brain structures, including the amygdala. The amygdala is the part of the brain that drives the “fight or fight” response. It also plays a significant role in memory. Some of the benefits you may feel are relaxation or feelings of euphoria, stress relief, release of emotions, overall healing and a greater sense of self. We are able to experience a "fast -track" through grief, loss and many other things. Please wear comfortable clothing, bring a yoga mat if you have one, a blanket and pillow. Remember not to eat for at least 1 hour prior. Please plan on arriving a few minutes early to settle in. To reserve your spot, please text Tiffany at 801-510-0117 Contraindications: As this type of breathwork can bring about strong physiological and psychological shifts, it is not recommended in this format for those who are pregnant, or who have a history of high blood pressure, epilepsy, bipolar disorder, dissociative disorders, schizophrenia, or more significant trauma or PTSD.
