Austin Kiln Club is thrilled to be collaborating with Tumbleweed Studio in Bee Cave, TX to bring you a series of fun workshops that you can enjoy as a family. These sessions are made with kids in mind. Young children can work on projects with the help of their parents while older kids will love asserting their independence by working on the project more independently. Parents are encouraged to collaborate with their children or make their own projects as well. No prior ceramics experience needed. Projects will be glazed, fired, and ready for pickup within 2 weeks. Shipping options also available for out-of-town guests. For Mother’s Day we will be making pancake boxes, inspired by breakfast in bed! These simple coil pots can be constructed independently by kids ages 8+. Younger children will need their parents help to complete the project, but will still have lots of fun playing with clay. Parents can make their own pancake boxes too.
