This three-day camp will engage youngsters in reading and following recipes, knife skills, practicing food safety, and teamwork. Each day will include a menu to prepare, a physical activity/ game or a craft, and of course, the meal of the day! Snacks will provide different experiences and fun.
Children will work in small groups led by teen leaders. Staff, volunteers, and chefs will guide youth throughout food preparation and serving. Youth will be introduced to MyPlate, culinary careers, and other 4-H Healthy Habit project activities.
