Give a Girl a Pencil!(Junior Scribe & Brownie Writing Fun Patch) THIS IS A DROP-OFF CLASS...parents are welcome to pay garden admission and visit the gardens until 12:00.Words are powerful tools. Great writing can make people feel encouraged, entertained or excited. Now imagine combining the power of your words with the beauty and wonder of nature and the natural world around us! Let's explore the gardens and write about what we discover together all the while, earning a badge. This is a badge worthy workshop, badges will be given at the end of the workshop to leader and/or parent.(Fee includes student's garden entrance.) Instructor:  Cyndi Tomerlin Cyndi is a graduate from the University of Florida (Go Gators!) and holds a degree in History, Florida History & Art History. She has worked for several museums in Florida, from the Panhandle down through Central Florida. She is an author of a book "Adversity and Apron Strings" which focuses on the lives of Florida's courageous and strong pioneering women. Cyndi has a long history with the Girl Scouts of America and considers it an honor to be part of such a wonderful organization.
