Description

One way to prevent overdose deaths is by learning how to safely administer Naloxone (Narcan). Naloxone is a life-saving medication that can reverse an overdose from opioids including heroin, fentanyl, and prescription opioid medications. Healthwest is offering free Narcan training to interested community members. Participants will receive a free Narcan kit upon completion. Drop in training hours are held every Wednesday from 1:00-4:00pm in the Connection Center located in the lobby of HealthWest in Muskegon.
