Description

Farm owner, Christine Melby, will show the structure of a hive and demonstrate how honey is harvested. Participants can even taste honey directly from the comb. A brief tour of the gardens will follow and will include a discussion about pollination. Families can spend the remaining time walking the gardens and woods, picking flowers ($1/stem), or watching the activity around the beehives. Best for children 5+. Registration Required.
