Come join us and use your creativity to craft your own unique jewelry piece with the help of Project Runway Fashion Designer Amanda Perna! All materials will be provided to create your own jewelry pieces. Students will be introduced to technique-based projects designed to teach a skill, while also encouraging creativity. Amanda will be leading you step-by-step! This workshop is perfect for anyone looking for a fun and productive way to express your creativity. No experience necessary. ** Please note, Refunds will be processed only if requested 72+ hours prior to scheduled workshop date/time. No refund will be given if requested less than seventy two (72) hours until scheduled workshop time for any reason. Only one ticket transfer will be allowed per person per workshop type, and will only occur if requested outside of the 72 hour mark of the registered workshop. While studying fashion design at the university of Alabama, Amanda achieved her dream: a design internship at Oscar de la Renta and the following summer an internship at Calvin Klein. With an entrepreneurial spirit, at the ripe old age of 19 she started her first fashion brand. Before graduating college, Amanda was offered a job at Calvin Klein, which she gladly accepted and finished her studies a semester ahead of schedule to start living her dream. Always interested in learning and growing, Amanda furthered her studies at the fashion institute of technology while working as a full time fashion designer. Although she was working her dream job, Amanda wanted more; to own her own business. She wanted to create whimsical, bold clothing and accessories. Against the advice of everyone she knew, Amanda quit her job and started the House of Perna.
