Hot Topics - Cool Heads Objectives for a typical Dinner and a Fight event Many Americans yearn for a path thru constructive disagreement that strengthens relationships and increases understanding of complex problems. 1- Demonstrate that we CAN have civil dialogue about difficult topics, and that there are lots of other Americans who would like to build understanding rather than division. 2- Equip participants to constructively engage fellow citizens in discussing and resolving difficult topics. 3- See we can take a step toward collaborative understanding. We know that democracy is rooted in constructive disagreement. And we know we're not that good at it! This event is like a disagreement-gymnasium. 4- Form a local learning community that people can return to. 5. General Admission - $ 25 Donation or free will contribution
