Description

Sign up for one of four bikes pedaling around Rochester bars for one more night on the town! Two bikes hold 15 students and two hold 13 students each. Transportation to and from the event is on your own. Please drink responsibly. We will provide you with a case of water per bike and a box of snacks. Wear Sneakers. Once you have a confirmed ticket, you will need to come by Student Engagement in Shults 100 to sign the liability waiver for the company as well as a NAzareth Liability waiver. Your ticket is not confirmed until you do so. You are responsible for the cost of the food you pick. In the course of a the 2 hour tour you will be able to visit 2 bars/breweries, play your own music off our speakers via your phone (we have Bluetooth), bring your own food and snacks, and decorate the bike for the occasion. You can bring cans of beer and plastic wine bottles but only 2 per person (for beer it is 12oz cans) and this is strictly enforced. Groups are responsible for bringing the cooler and ice. The rules are NO liquor or jello shots, NO glass and no boxed wine or growlers (we cant have anything in solo cups because they make a mess with all the bumps) and no outside substances in water bottles. We definitely encourage you to bring some water for your group. When decorating the bike you can ONLY use painters tape to tape things up, for signs on the back of the bike they cannot be wider than a door way so that they do not block our turn signals and put holes in the corners to tie them up with strings or zip ties. Don't bring anything that will hang down and hit people in the face or legs when they are pedaling. You will find that your driver does a lot more than just take you from Point A to Point B they will help decorate the bike, put up with everyone's drunken shenanigans, clean and most importantly take all the group photos on the organizers phone (so make sure it has battery and memory).Organizers usually collect the drivers tip ahead of time and give it to the driver at some point before the end of the tour because it gets hectic then. Your tour will begin at Marshall Street Bar and Grill and we have FREE parking down the street at the Wadsworth Square Parking Lot at 40 Marshall Street. Parking on Marshall Street is super limited and Monroe Avenue is only 1 hour parking so make sure your groups park in this lot and walk the 7 houses down to Marshall Street Bar and Grill. Pro Tip: drop your cooler at the bar and then go park so you do not have to walk down the street with it. You cannot drink or eat the stuff you brough for your tour on the Marshall Street Bar and Grill premise. Anyone caught drinking there own beverages on the premise are NOT ALLOWED ON THE TOUR. We dont want to get started on the wrong note so please make your groups aware of the rules. Let your group know to arrive at Marshall Street Bar and Grill half an hour before your tour start time so that everyone can sign the waivers which are attached to the email as well on our website under the FAQ section. You probably already know who in your group usually runs late so make sure you get everyone there on time. Anyone who is late can join us at the first bar after they sign the waiver, no need to wait for them to arrive to start. This pedal bus requires at least 6 peddlers for a tour. Minimum height for peddlers is 5'3ft', but everyone has different sized legs so that doesn't guarantee you won't be able to pedal. We have had shorter people pedal with no problem. Anyone over 275lbs cannot pedal due to them bending our seats, they can however sit on the back bench. There is room for 8 peddlers and 5 riders. For cold weather tours (we go year round) tours dress warm, don't forget the gloves and something to cover your ears, when you inevitably get hot from the drinking and pedaling you can take a layer or two off and leave them on the bike under the supervision of your driver. In the summer please make sure you wear proper foot ware, if you wear flip flops and sandals not only are they uncomfortable to pedal in and fall off but when your feet slip off the pedal the pedals keep moving and we don't want them to hit your feet when you have to catch them. We won't not let you on the bike but there is a reason we say to wear sneakers every step of the way so consider yourselves warned. You are sitting on a bike seat so dont wear a skirt or sundress and bring a wristlet versus a large purse because you only need to bring cash and an ID. Please forward this email to the members of your group going on the tour so they understand the rules and what to pack. As the organizer we count on you to pass on this important information to your groups, we want to ensure that your group has an amazing experience and letting them know what to expect plays a big role with everyone coming prepared.
